My students are members of the technology generation. They all can master the art of using cell phones, laptops and iPads by the age of two. They are ohh'd and ahhh'd by flashy sounds and quick moving characters. They attend a school that has Smartboards in every classroom. They attend a school where all of the curricula is found online and teachers are teaching with laptops and hand-held test taking equipment. All they know is technology and we need to teach to what they know.
