These tools for learning will help our students tremendously! Concrete manipulatives that they can hold and see, will help them to make connections to the abstract relationships learned in the pre-algebra years. Many students are visual and tactile learners. Manipulatives are also great aids for our special education population, and struggling learners. I have a few things I have bought on my own, but as a single mom of two, I cannot afford to supply it all. I want to be able to ensure my students that they will have the tools needed to be successful, so I need your help! A math classroom without manipulatives, is like a computer with no screen.
