Our school is 87% socioeconomically disadvantaged, 68% English learners, and 90% Hispanic or Latino. Our enrollment is over 1600 students. Many of our students are affected by both poverty and exposure to gang influence. For some, school is the only safe and nurturing environment that they experience. Our students come to us with immense needs, but also have great potential.

About my class
