My class is an energetic bunch of students. They love to learn and have fun at the same time. My goal is to provide them with a happy, caring, and safe learning environment. The number of students who showed concern about math was surprising. In a quick survey taken at the begin of the school year, many showed concern about the upcoming math curriculum. It seemed that many had struggled with the new math core in 3rd grade. It is my goal to have them feel confident and successful. Believing they can learn is an important factor. The students in my class come from a variety of backgrounds and are willing to learn. I hope these games will provide them with a new and unique way to do so.
