My students are those students in school that struggle not only with math but with reading as well. They are in a program called APSIRE, which is double block of math and ELA (reading and language arts class).They come to me so that I can help them achieve their goals of being able to understand high order math skills and solving real world math issues. My students attend a high performing school, but at the same time it has about a 45% free and reduced lunch program. Students from other schools in the county choose to attend the school so they may learn from teachers like me.
