My fourth grade classroom consists of 24 nine and ten year olds who attend a K-8 elementary school in an urban environment. This is my third year teaching at this district and I've noticed that our students often go without materials are taken for granted in other districts. I would my students to have the materials in their classroom that are essential to receiving an education that is equal to other districts around us.
