My students are precious. They have such a love of learning - they will ask me for more difficult sight singing assignments on the board - they especially love Error Detection - when I sing the four measure phrase they have just learned on the board, and add a mistake - they love finding those. I love their love of learning - I want to feed it and help it grow, but I literally have only a piano and a whiteboard with music staves on it. While grateful for these items, it is very limiting. My students are middle to lower middle class - some have had great experiences, many have not. But, they have great curiosity and interest.
