My project consists of titles for our upcoming Battle of the Books. These books will give students in our school the opportunity to read multiple high-interest, award-winning books with a focus on comprehension. These are books that the students will read for pleasure, but they will also practice answering questions about them throughout the year in preparation for the epic Battle of the Books. Our Battle of the Books rounds consist of 2 teams answering questions together about the 15 books they have read in preparation for the battle. They spend much of their free time reviewing characters, events in the novels, problems and solutions, and even lesser-known details in advance of the Battle.
