My students have learning disabilities in reading and are pulled for resource services daily. They come from all nationalities. They are from mostly low to middle income families. They are fourth and fifth grade students, who are on the verge of deciding what path to take: a non-reader or a reader becoming a leader. I teach some of the most precious students, who are loving and want to better themselves. Unfortunately, they have more obstacles than some people and they just need a chance to get ahead.
