My students love to work for the computer, SMARTboard activities, and many other technological devices. Motivating these students to engage in the academic task at hand is vital in order for them to make progress. Ipads also allow us to work on daily living skills such as self care routines, meal routines, scheduled events, and many other "simple" tasks for you and me, but difficult tasks for some of my students. Ipads allow for voice output programs to be implemented, as well as personalized pictures that will allow us to use the Ipad for visual schedules, "first, then" contingencies, etc.
