My students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Many families are struggling to meet the day to day needs of their child. Many students do not have access to ANY books at home. We have a high population of students who do not have access to transportation, therefore trips to the library are few and far between. I work at a Charter school that is in their 2nd year in operation. Money and resources are scarce. We would greatly appreciate help in building up a classroom library. We do not have a school library so having a class library to choose from is incredibly important for my students. Thank you for reviewing my project!
