The students in my class come from a very diverse background. Some of my students have been in the country as little as a week, where other have had parents that could read to them every day of their life. The one thing in common all of my students have is a love for learning and books. My students love to read books about topics they love. My class this year is particularly interested in animals and science. As a teacher I am looking for more ways to include literacy into their passion for knowledge.
