We are a Title I school in California, where many students are on the free lunch program. The library is only open 2-3 days per week, and many students do not have access to computers or printers at home. In addition, we are working to rebuild our school's drama program, and with a small library, the books need to stay in the room. With a copier, students can copy small excerpts from books, plays, and scenes that they are interested in, rather than having to copy them by hand. I teach both Drama and English so both departments will benefit from the donation.
