The materials and supplies that I am requesting will be used to help calm the students as well as keep them involved in the learning process. The majority of the students I work with learn better and are calmer when they get to work with their hands. The items I have chosen will help them do that. We will get to use the thread and towels to embroidery. The students will get to use the Twisteez wire to build a sculpture. By donating to our project, you will not only help the students learn another medium but they will actually be learning a coping skill for when they are upset. Students will be able to learn that art is not only a requirement but that they can also use it to help calm them.

About my class
