The students in my self-contained classroom are in third through fifth grade. They come from a low-income neighborhood in the city of Philadelphia. Beyond the everyday challenges they face in their communities, they are also have Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. My kids are loving, creative, hard-working and never let their disabilities hold them back from achieving their goals. They love learning through exploration, technology and hands on activities. They enjoy discovering new things and have the amazing ability to brighten even the most challenging days.

About my class
