I work in a Title 1 school, ninety nine percent of my students qualify for free lunch. I have 29 bilingual second graders. Most of the children are immigrants, they came from Mexico, Central or South America and Spanish is their first language. All of my students come every day to school full of energy and ready to learn, which makes my teaching and desire to teach them easier. These kids are grateful and appreciate every single thing that I give to them: it can be a cookie, a pencil, a little sticker, etc. Their parents have thought them to value the opportunity that this country offers to them and parents and students have a big respect for teachers. It is an honor to be my students' teacher!
