My school is a creative arts magnet school where scholars enter a lottery for the lucky chance to learn and grow at our school. I am a new teacher at my school and will be teaching students literacy and social studies. Despite being a magnet school, I am serving a population where nearly 75% of my students come from economically disadvantaged homes. I am so excited to serve these students and give them tools to become successful!
