This makerspace project encourage technology and arts in the library. Students will become familiar with computer programming and robotics with the use of ozobots. Our students will be able to collaborate and learn using Osmo in the library for coding, creating, and exploring. My school is a high poverty area. Our students receive 100% free lunch. Many of our students are not exposed to new technology, making the library and school a wonderful opportunity for them to become inventors and creators. Your donation will provide our students with the exposure and opportunities that they may not otherwise experience. With this project in the library is to provide our students the chance to become 21st Century learners. They can come to the library makerspace to build, explore, create and invent. Students will have access to makerspace during class time and after school hours.
