Allowing students to express themselves and to be understood helps them to realize the important role they play in their educational process. Critical conversations and creative self expression fosters their ability to become intentional about learning and their life goals. High school is a time of self discovery. The more you learn about yourself the better prepared your are for your transition to adulthood to becoming the person that you hope to become.
