My students have an added challenge in that they are students with a disability. With such diversity, it is to be expected that each student is going to have a very divergent range of personal, social, emotional, and educational needs when compared to students who do not have a disability. These middle school students learn best with differentiated instruction, which includes a lot of hands-on activities. They have curious minds that just need to have fun and laugh, question, explore, create, and interact with each other in an effort to develop the knowledge and social skills needed to be successful individuals. Technology will help support STEM education.
