Welcome! My name is Ms. Fischer and I am an middle school ELA teacher in New York looking for exciting ways to inspire my students to read and write through creativity and technology! If you click on the "Project Requests" tab on the bottom of the page, you can see in more detail the projects for which I am currently trying to get funding. Most of my projects are technology related as my school is attempting to create a blog platform of multimedia writing portfolios for students in their literacy classes. This is an attempt to better track student progress as well as create a community life-long writers that use and value reader feedback as part of their process. As we get the blog up and running, I will be happy to post a link so that you can enjoy in all of the wonderful products that the students create and share with the world.
