I have a classroom of 26 first graders who love to read. They are great at sharing and taking turns with books. Many of my students' parents have asked for me to send reading books home so they can support their literacy at home too. Many families cannot afford to buy their own books or do not have the means to get to the city library. With this addition to our library, I will have books to send home with my students, and students will also have a greater selection to choose from for their reading pleasure.
