My students come from financially challenged backgrounds. Most get free breakfast and lunch, free backpacks and most come to school without a notebook or pencil. They wear uniforms, and we have an officer on campus full time. It is very challenging for them. Exposure to the arts is crucial in today's world. Technology is growing so fast, our visual artists will be developing our platforms, apps, software etc. These children our the future for us.

About my class
