Our society has the difficult task of preparing students for the jobs of tomorrow that don't even exist today. It is an exciting challenge that is not unattainable; there is just a greater need to ignite an intrinsic desire to learn in our youth. This excitement will result in motivation, and true motivation will create independent learners ready to shape not only their future, but also the future of an educated and forward thinking society. My current third graders are a dynamic group of eager learners with dreams of becoming architects, mechanics, scientists, and more. I am passionate about providing engaging opportunities in my lessons, and your support will help ignite a motivational flame and guide these students to be problem solvers and critical thinkers.
