My seventh and eighth grade students are eager investigators of the science curriculum as they engage in hands-on activities, inquiry-based projects, experiments, and discussions. In our classroom, we believe that all students can learn in their own way. However, due to a lack of sufficient scientific equipment, students that learn tactically do not have the methods to explore the science content to their best abilities. With the right scientific tools, such as microscopes, students will not only be able to read about science concepts, such as mitosis, but be able to utilize these tools to find the various stages of mitosis! Please help me bring science to life for these hardworking students.
