All of our students are eligible for free or reduced lunches based on family income. Our students come from poverty stricken homes and neighborhoods, yet enjoy coming to school everyday to eagerly demonstrate their learning. Our students are a group of great kids that deserve all the advantages that schools in the suburbs have, in the classroom and out on the playground. Our students are a group of hard working general education and special needs children. They work very hard during the school day and when it is time to go out to recess they have minimal time and inadequate equipment. They need this brief time outside to burn off excess energy from sitting and being attentive during the school day.

About my class
