My students in the Hilltop area of SW Columbus, Ohio, primarily study science with me. My students are very inquisitive, but many need extra assistance to keep up with state standards due to language barriers, attendance rates, and transience. We use a lot of visuals in our classroom and hands-on activities when possible to help students explore scientific concepts and successfully digest what they observe and infer.
