90 percent of my students qualify for free lunch because they are from low incomes families. They are mostly from Hispanic descent and English is their second language. The families of my students are hard working but have little time or support for education. My students love art and are respectful and creative. The main building of my elementary school is 90 years old and is located in a historic Hispanic community with a rich culture.
