Our students are third graders in a low income area where most students are on free and reduced lunch. We are also a school composed of 84% English language learners, so meeting the California standards takes extra work and very targeted instruction. However, we as staff and our students are doing it with a lot of hard work! After many years of not meeting our goals, our school was restructured and we recently exited Program Improvement under No Child Left Behind. While we are proud of this, there is more to come and now we need supplies to get our students to the next level."

About my class
