I have selected to add an additional four Chromebooks. This would double the amount of devices we have now. With technology at the forefront in today's world, there are so many great digital learning applications and sites now available for math, and I would love to be able to incorporate more of this to my students. These extra devices would provide my students with more online learning opportunities and more student engagement. My students truly enjoy all the extension opportunities I offer, and with these new devices I would be able to offer even more. I would love to use sites like, Google Classroom, where students can take on their own learning through all the available content and activities I can link for them. Since students learn in different ways and different paces, having more Chromebooks available would provide more support for struggling students, as well as supports for closing student gaps. I have found great online learning videos and that students can use to grasp a better understanding, while also utilizing interactive digital manipulatives to support their learning. Having these opportunities will promote student growth and mastery. Lastly, I now try to utilize technology in our weekly stations with the four Chromebooks we have for 20 + students. These additional devices will provide opportunities for other students to use the digital learning resources. I know that these Chromebooks will help my students continue to be excited about Math, and give them more student choice in their learning.
