These resources will allow my students to have access to text both at home and at school. They will have opportunities to watch videos associated with the information they are learning about. The standards line up to the appropriate grade-level content reinforcing skills and concepts learned in the classroom. Using Scholastic News will give my students new and innovative ways to look at infographics, text features, dialogue, research, and vibrant visuals to help them maintain and retain new information. As a bonus, the class will be able to take polls for various age-appropriate situations and concerns helps students to express and form their own opinions about things that may already affect them.
