Hello potential supporters and donors. My name is Mr. Martin, and I am a new 8th grade science teacher. Starting on August 19th, I will have the honor of creating opportunities for 8th grade students to grapple with scientific problems, investigate, research, and experiment and make claims, defend those claims, and consequently solve social issues using the techniques and analytical tools given in my class. While students are in my class and under my care, I would like for them to feel and know that they are receiving the best education possible. So often they internalize the effects of poverty and disparity, which shows in their participation and sense of academic efficacy and educational pursuit. I ask that you join in my cause of making sure that my students receive the best education possible, by aiding in supplying me with classroom items and provisions for their academic journey.
