I have enjoyed using chart paper for instructional and enrichment activities. I find that charts are very supportive when used as one element of the Language Arts instruction program. I use chart paper for daily phonics focus, new words for story reading, spelling words and high frequency words. I write daily stories and poems on a chart page, as well. My enthusiastic learners also enjoy having opportunities to write on the charts, too. While sitting on the carpet, my learners are at full attention as we read, write, circle, or draw information on our chart paper. It's also encouraging to use colorful markers as we create or identify specific words. As a dedicated teacher, I know that the simplest materials are the most costly. That's why your consideration to donate For chart paper and markers is greatly appreciated.
