My goal this year is to create a more technology-based classroom for my students. We do receive many donations at our school, but most of it is basic school supplies. I am looking to fund a program for my classroom that uses technology in more than one way. The tablets will be used cross-curricular in the classroom. Since there will only be 5 tablets, students will have opportunities to pair up to read together or complete specific tasks with one another. My students don't have many opportunities to explore learning with technology other than a desk top. They are usually limited to Public Library computers after school, since there is possibly no internet in their own homes. This is a fantastic resource to not only teach technology literacy but also to create an engaging classroom.
