My 6th graders are mostly new to our school, having finished 5th grade at the nearby elementary schools. We live in the suburbs outside of New Orleans. We are working hard on learning the skills needed to be successful with the Common Core State Standards. Like most technology savvy kids, they want to show what they know. Our classes range in size from 18 students to 35 students.
