The data on reading says to become better readers, children need exposure to as many books as possible. The leveled classroom Libraries will help my students become more comprehensive readers and support their writing efforts too! These tool for learning, will help build the ground work for success in our classrooms. The children will have access to books that help them fulfill their reading goals set by CCSD. We will use these book as anchors, examples, mentor texts, homework buddies and an added aide to build reading stamina. "Immersion is the BIG word in my classroom". We are totally immersed in this project. My students and I believe that to become a better reader, you MUST read; therefore, we are building our case for reading!
