My students are sixth graders that come from all over Los Angeles. They are diverse, energetic and excited about learning. This year I want to introduce them to advances being made in the scientific community that may otherwise be missed. Language barriers can cause my students to not understand everything they are learning about. These magazines can help us overcome the difficulty this presents.
