My students are 8-9 year old 3rd graders who are always ready to embrace new learning both academically and physically. They are native inner city dwellers in Illinois who want to experience all that they can. Be it learning to read independently and sharing what they read in written work, or oral presentations, or using math aids to enhance their skills, these students tackle tasks with robust energy. The school serves kindergartners through eighth grade students who don't have a playground to release their energy (especially during the cold months).

About my class
