I teach at a K-2nd grade building. Our at-risk population is growing steadily. Many students rely on the local community for basic back-to-school supplies. Fortunately, our community supports our schools as well as our local families, so much so that they approved a bond to enhance our technology. I am 100% for technology, but am fearful that students will drift further and further away from pencil/paper activities. Providing our students with fine motor enhancing supplies in the school store will motivate them to take their educational treasures home and use them!
