I teach third grade in one of the largest elementary schools in the state of Alabama with 1,400 students. That averages to 13 classes per grade level K-4, with 23 students in each classroom. We are a Title 1 school. In my class I have a variety of students. 16/20 receive free/reduced lunch, I have 3 ESL students, and 8 students with special needs (IEP plans). One thing they all have in common is they love to learn.
