Standing at a student desk to do work is not working for some of my students. When they do this they may bump into students that are around them, in turn preventing them from learning. Bending over a desk also aids in bad posture. Some of my " wiggle" students that are not able to sit at a desk, would benefit from an area that allows them to stand and work. This would give them the best opportunity to learn in an environment and area in which would help concentration. Headphones will aid in students doing math work on the computer that requires audio, and therefore will not disturb the entire classroom.
