Our class is an LA4 PreKindergarten classroom. We are partnered with a local charter school and our classroom is in a child development center. We are moving into a new classroom this winter that is carefully designed around the interests of our children and the learning objectives for PreKindergarten students in Louisiana. My students are busy throughout our school day! We have free-choice activity centers in the morning and afternoon and our outdoor play space also includes learning centers. The children are both read to and are offered many opportunities for independent reading throughout the day.
