My students come from a wide array of cultures. Many of them are new to the country and come from as far away as Haiti, and Honduras. Like 13 yr. olds from all over the world, they are FULL OF ENERGY and very much fun! Our school is a beautiful building to learn in, that was constructed from an old historic hospital. It was built to alleviate overcrowding from our older building which had over 5,000 students! Our building will have 2,400 students in it this year. Classes are maxed out at 30 students per class. While the grant that funded the building of our school created a beautiful space in which to learn, many of the basics are still needed.
