I teach middle school students with mental impairments, autism, fine motor deficits and/or communication issues in a low socioeconomic region. My students have a difficult time processing and retaining basic academic and/or social skills. They recieve their core instruction in my classroom but I strive to make them part of the school by attending some outside classes, lunch and other school activities.
