My students come from very economically disadvantaged situations. They attend a charter school in an urban setting in Ohio. While my students are doing their personal best to achieve, they have not been exposed to many of the resources that other students find common. I want to provide them with the opportunity to explore EVERYTHING that is available to them. Once exposed, I'm very hopeful that they will gain a love for reading, as well as the knowledge of how to find resources.
