My students are absolutely amazingly creative and intrigued in the world around them. They love to learn about science and actively engage in the hands-on learning activities that interest them. I teach science to 6th and 7th graders at a K-12 college prep charter school, which focuses on teaching students to be active community members and the future leaders of tomorrow. We opened in August of 2013 and have grown to a population of approximately 200 students at each of the middle and high school levels.
