I have found over the past few years that giving students different seating options maximizes learning in my classroom. I have used the yoga ball as another type of seating option (instead of just a desk and chair) in my room for a few years and have noticed better student engagement. Unfortunately, my seating options are getting worn out, so I am hoping to update them to continue motivating my students to learn. The Norwood stool seats will be used during my guided reading group, and the Waliki yoga ball chairs/Trideer wobble cushions will be used in different ways (reward time and centers as an example) throughout the year so all the students have a chance to move around while learning!
