My students are currently working at desks in our classroom. We find it difficult to work together on projects and hands-on activities with desk constraints. Collaboration is so much easier with tables. My students will be able to sit near each other to work in small groups. Tables will also teach my students responsibility in keeping their school things organized and put away. Last year was a challenging year for my students and me due to Covid restrictions and social distancing. We are so looking forward to building a team approach within our classroom community. Also, our custodians will so appreciate this as tables are much easier to clean than desks!
