Union Elementary is a rural school in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. Many of my student's families are near or at poverty level but their love and dedication to their children is heartwarming. They want what is best for their children but often lack the necessary skills or funds to help them. Involving them in school activities allows them to feel they are contributing to the education of their children. These children need to know they can succeed!
