I have the best students in the school. They are hard workers who love to make beautiful music. We have Grade 6-8 band and Grade K-5 General Music with an Orff approach. This is our first year for music at our school, and our program is off to a great start. During my time here, I plan to build our band program into a model for other schools to follow. Our inventory of band instruments and percussion needs to grow so that there is enough to provide for our members. Band gives relevance and purpose to students' learning, and gives them a connecting place to build relationships and character as an integral part of an ensemble. This is a place for kids to shine and inspire others. Giving students a voice through instrumental music is vital for what lies ahead in education and adulthood. Please help us realize this dream.
